SUMMARY:AWAC Virtual Workshop - Fostering Critical AI Literacy for Multilingual Students
DESCRIPTION:AWAC’s Mentoring Committee is delighted to host Chaoran Wang and Zhaozhe Wang for a virtual workshop: “Fostering Critical AI Literacy for Multilingual Students”  \nDrawing from recent empirical research on multilingual students’ AI-assisted writing practices\, Chaoran Wang and Zhaozhe Wang will discuss the complexities\, controversies\, and myths surrounding students’ engagement with generative AI technologies. Our speakers will explore pedagogical approaches that integrate critical AI literacy into writing instruction.
